Ford Mustang Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Ford Mustang cars have increased during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in August the average price was $66,706. September went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $81,728. During the following two months (October, November) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $74,217 to $78,793.5. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -20 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $76,505.25 to $61,138.5.
The average price for Ford Mustang has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is $40,445.88. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($25,796) moving up till ($51,981)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 70 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($77,999.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of $87,389.5.
