Toyota Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in November was of $589,164. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $614,380 during December. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -34 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -45 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $499,664.5 to $274,923.5.
The average price for Toyota has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2018, the average price is $33,088.3. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($34,237) moving up till ($84,667)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2020) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 170 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -6 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample ($83,966.75) and the the last two years analyzed (2021, 2022) with a price of $78,605.5.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 70 % more affordable than the average price ($129,966). Next with a price of $65,071 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 20% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" priced at $88,694.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota cars points out to "Hydrogen" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 89 % less expensive than the average market price ($129,966) followed by "Hybrid" priced at $80,047. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 12 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of $102,768.
The graph showing the average price for Toyota cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 90 % more affordable than the average price ($129,966). These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of $24,592. Cars with the lowest average price have 2 !doors and are 68 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 5 doors with a selling price of $37,648.
