Price for Kia
Kia Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Kia cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in September was of $59,669. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $58,558 during October. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from $59,113.5 to $58,651. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -54 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $58,882.25 to $26,807.
The average price for Kia has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2019, the average price is $17,193.07. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 ($5,868) moving up till ($35,270)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 76 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($35,275.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of $40,276.5.
